Round 052026 Formula 1

Canadian Grand Prix

Montreal, Canada22 May 2026 – 24 May 2026
The circuit

Know the venue before the weekend starts.

Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is a 4.361 km semi-permanent circuit on Île Notre-Dame in the St Lawrence River. Trees, barriers and water surround a compact lap that feels unusually intimate for a Formula 1 venue.

Travel context

Because the circuit is located on Île Notre-Dame within Montreal rather than in a remote motorsport complex, a city-based stay is practical. Race-day transport should be planned around the concentrated flows of spectators moving to and from the island.
